On the New Euro Pokémon Cards

The ECB has released the proposals for the new banknotes.¹ They are separated into 3 categories:

• 5 sets ("European culture" theme): a historical figure whose life and work shaped Europe on the front, scenes of shared cultural life on the back.
• 4 sets ("Rivers and birds" theme): a European bird and a segment of the river it inhabits on the front, EU buildings on the back.
• 1 set: Pokémon on the front, and the same buildings as the bird sets on the back.

The Pokémon are my favorites. Here's an explanation of what's depicted:²
